Reflections

The latest word in wedding entertainment is “Reflections.” More than entertainment, it’s the presentation of a love story at your reception. Not just any love story, of course; it’s your unique love story.

Reflections are created by a photographer who has the expertise and special equipment to turn your’s and your fiance’s snapshots into a wonderfully romantic and nostalgic slide show. It is set to music, generally about 10 to 15 minutes in length, and presented while your guests are seated at the reception. Reflections can also be a part of your ceremony–with the approval of your pastor or officiator.

First they’ll see baby pictures, yours and his, then first birthday cakes, first steps, first days at kindergarten. Then your teen years with friends and pets; cheerleading and band uniforms; slumber parties; football scrimmage with neighborhood pals; and graduations. The slides blend on into another, showing your lives separately, each with your own family and friends. Suddenly there is a picture of your first date; then proms and homecoming; horseback riding; holding hands; a picnic in the park.

You’ll relive your engagement, your bridal showers and your wedding preparations leading up to this special day. Your family and friends will want to see it over again and again especially when so many of them are in it! An option is for you to have it all on video for you to review any time you wish.

Create Reflections as a special surprise for your parents. (Of course, they could also create it for you.) It’s a wonderful trip down memory lane for you and your guests.

You can view a Reflections show by appointment with a photographer who advertises it. Once you’ve seen it, you’ll understand why it’s the latest word in weddings.
