The Vista is located on 4 acres of one of Austin's most beautiful
hills. The Vista's deck with its three-tiered fountain area have a
gorgeous view of the surrounding Hill Country by day and
spectacular views of Austin's city lights by night. The grounds
contain several waterfalls and fountains with a wooden bridge with
iron arches. Stone arches and a large wooden gazebo complete
the yard. The 100-year-old and European style cottage with its
fishpond, stone fireplaces, arbors and large iron candelabras add
a romantic
ambiance. The covered dance floor has unique lighting and statues
to make the perfect party area. The more formal Guest House, with
crystal chandeliers and columns lends itself to the versatility of
the Vista. Beside the Grand Room, there are private dressing rooms
for the Bride and Groom. The Main House and pool are available by
special request and pricing. The Vista on Seward Hill with its
panoramic views and unique features promises your guests an event
to remember.

Capacity? 50 to 150
Rental Time? 8 hours total (2 hours set up time, 1 hour
rehearsal, 4 hours
ceremony/reception, and 1 hour cleanup.) Saturday morning
receptions have a 2 hour ceremony/reception. Additional
time may be purchased at $500 an hour for your event.
Viewing Time? Shown by appointment only Wednesday evenings
and Saturdays
Caterers? Pascal's and Sterling Affairs (Sterling is the
exclusive caterer for Saturday)
Pricing? Varies, please call.
Included in fee? All the tables and
chairs that you would need for any purpose (inside or outside) up to 150 guests,
commercial margarita machine, garden lanterns (your choice of
color), DJ sound and lighting, Vista rehearsal and event
coordinator, and much more.
Music? Vista will co-ordinate your wedding
rehearsal, provide audio for the officient, music for the
ceremony and reception. Both buildings are wired for sound
as well as the courtyard. Also included is a beautiful
light show for your dance floor.
Rain Plan? At your request, white tents will
be placed over the sidewalk to connect the two facilities, and the
ceremony is moved from the garden to the alcove in the stone
pavilion. |
